The technique
The technique used in her original drawings combines graphite and gold leaf on paper. Graphite, a humble and simple material, contrasts with the preciousness of gold leaf, creating not only a chromatic contrast but embracing an ideal dimension. This fusion of such diverse elements gives rise to works that are both intimate and universal, generating a visual dialogue that evokes a dreamlike and spiritual dimension.

The Opening of "Oro & Disegni"
In the spring of 2024, Stefania Dei Rossi opened “Oro e Disegni,” her workshop and atelier in the heart of Venice, in Campo Santa Maria Nova.
Here, original works are created alongside collections of home decor items designed for the home, a space that above all reflects the essence of those who live in it.
Each of the artist’s creations celebrates uniqueness and craftsmanship, recalling ancient values that are increasingly rare in the contemporary world and reflect a deep love for the art of making.
