We fell in love with Stefania’s creations the minute we passed her shop in Venice. They are just exquisite… The designs and the craftsmanship. When we returned home we decided to order some of her placemats. Because of their being glass and expensive, we were worried about shipping. Also because we do not speak Italian. We were so wrong! Stefania’s husband speaks excellent English and followed up immediately with answers to all our questions. The packing was professional and impeccable… And it would have been impossible to have damaged the art work. We were notified when the artwork was completed and when the package had left. Stefania Dei Rossi could be described as the master of black, white, and gold in a uniquely Venetian oeuvre. Every aspect of her work and its presentation is impeccable, masterly, and intriguing. Upon entering the shop, it becomes clear that what you are seeing is intrinsically Venetian, with details exuding clarity, mystery, wonder, and originality. I purchased a framed work and commissioned another, a very particular one. One of the best things I have done for a while and a suitable summation to my month's visit to Venice. From the moment I ordered and paid for the works until I received them in the UK, I was kept informed about the progress and provided with photographs. Nothing was damaged; the packaging of both items was both practical and artisanal, with every detail carefully considered- a sort of packaged perfection.
