The Ca' Vendramin Calergi Brooch – Variant 2 encapsulates an architectural detail of Ca' Vendramin Calergi, one of the most elegant palaces overlooking the Grand Canal. Preserved under a glass cabochon, Stefania Dei Rossi's original design is enhanced by hand-applied pure gold leaf gilding, which illuminates the surfaces and brings depth to the Renaissance forms of the architecture.
The contrast between the essential and measured graphic stroke and the warm glow of gold creates a visual language that characterizes the artist's entire research: the encounter between the simplicity of graphite and the preciousness of gold leaf. A sober composition, capable of narrating the beauty of details through a few calibrated marks.
The magnetic closure allows the brooch to be attached without piercing the fabric, preserving the integrity of the garment's weave. Made entirely in Stefania Dei Rossi's Venetian atelier, this brooch is a small fragment of Venice to carry with you, where art, architecture, and craftsmanship merge into a unique object.

Are the jewellery pieces handmade?
Yes, Stefania Dei Rossi's jewellery is entirely handmade in the "Oro & Disegni" atelier in Campo Santa Maria Nova, in the heart of Venice. Each piece begins with the reproduction of an original drawing by the artist or a graphic reworking of antique prints, protected beneath a glass cabochon and enhanced by pure gold leaf applied by hand. The settings in brass, bronze or gold, and the elements that complete each piece (natural pearls, antique glass pearls, coral, etc.), are assembled and chosen one by one, making every piece different from the next.
Are the jewellery pieces unique?
The jewellery is made in small artisanal series and, in some cases, as one-of-a-kind pieces. As the work is done entirely by hand, no two pieces will ever be perfectly identical: every small difference is the authentic mark of something handmade - the very opposite of industrial jewellery produced in thousands of identical copies.
How long does it take to receive my jewellery?
If the chosen piece is available, it will be shipped immediately. If it is a reproducible model that still needs to be made, delivery takes between 4 and 14 working days for shipments within the EU. These times do not include any delays due to customs clearance for countries that require customs procedures.
